Dr Andrea Williamson

Andrea Williamson is a senior academic GP combining teaching, research and clinical practice. She is deputy director of the GP teaching team at Glasgow Undergraduate Medical School, leads the intercal course ‘Global health in primary care’ and her research interests include ‘missingness’ in health care and provision of health care for marginalised patients. She is a founding member of the steering group of The Scottish Deep End Project, deputy chair of the Health Inequalities Standing Group of the Royal College of GP and on the NIHR research committee for health service research. Andrea is a GP in Glasgow Homeless Health Services and a medical officer in addictions in Glasgow Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services.
