Dr Caroline Ward

Dr Caroline Ward works as a GP in Oxfordshire having undertaken her medical training at Nottingham medical school. She was previously a salaried GP, but her main clinical role is now in the local GP out-of-hours service, but she continues to undertake some GP locum work. She has clinical interests in antimicrobial stewardship, evidence-based medicine, and overdiagnosis / over testing. She has been a standing member of the NICE Management of Common Infections Committee since its inception in 2017, and for the past 5 years has also worked for BSW Clinical Commissioning Group (formally Swindon CCG) as a clinical evidence fellow.
