Dr Polly Duncan

SpecialityGP and NIHR In-Practice Fellow, University of Bristol

I’m a salaried GP in Bristol. I also work part-time as an Early Career Researcher for the CRN and at the University of Bristol doing research into frailty, polypharmacy and treatment burden (the effort patients go to to look after their health). I am the Chair of the Primary care Academic CollaboraTive (PACT) and set it up to make research more accessible to people working in primary care (not just those few already on a research career path) and because I think it’s a way of doing high quality research that will benefit patients. Caring for Housebound In Primary care (CHIP) will be the first study to test out the PACT network.
