Emma Mair

Emma is a clinical specialist pain management physiotherapist. Emma qualified from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh in 2001 and completed an MSc (with distinction) in Physiotherapy with pain modules in 2012. She has worked in specialist pain management services since 2008 both in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and NHS Ayrshire and Arran, where she currently works. 

She is passionate about education in pain for the individuals she works with, other health care professionals and the wider public to empower change. Emma has a drive for improving services for individuals with persistent pain and has a specialist interest in Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. Emma is also the Chronic Pain Clinical Lead for Primary Care in Scotland where she continues to lead change for improved management of persistent pain for individuals in Scotland.
