Jack Stancel-Lewis

Jack is an NHS England Clinical Fellow, who leads a programme aimed at delivering hearing checks for children and young people with learning disabilities and autism in residential special schools. As part of this programme he has developed a unique methodology with partners, that empowers trusted people to deliver hearing checks with innovative technology in a COVID safe way. Previously he led workstreams aimed at improving access to sensory health across London. More specifically, a successful project in care homes, that utilised patient participatory methods to embed awareness around the importance of sensory health, which included the implementation of a Sensory Health Passport. He is interested in exploring ways in which technology can be used to improve ear care pathways, utilising a diverse workforce to enable access. Jack is an Audiologist by profession, who has a specialist interest in age related hearing loss, children with special needs and vestibular rehabilitation.
