Professor Emma Baker is a clinical pharmacologist, i.e. a doctor specialising in the use of medicines. As clinical vice president of the British Pharmacological Society her stated aim is to lead clinical pharmacology in realising its value for the NHS. Her clinical practice and research are in multimorbidity and polypharmacy. As a national teaching fellow she has a strong track record in education and is course director for the UK’s first BSc in Clinical Pharmacology and Training Programme Director for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics in London
